Contact…If you are the referee, please contact your partner(s) 24-48 hours before your assignment. If you do not hear from your referee, please contact that person to confirm the assignment.
Ejections…If you have an ejection (player or coach), a report must be filed with the HSL office by 12 noon the next day. There is a form available online to do this. Please do not have the HSL office chasing you to get the report. Ejections include two technical fouls on a player for ANY reason.
Throw-ins…The correct throw-in spot after a foul or violation is determined by rule. When we fail to put the ball in play at the correct throw-in spot, we are kicking a rule.
Tips
1. Be ready for the unexpected.
2. On free throws don’t get complacent.
3. Disconcertion on a free throw is a delayed dead ball.
