Construction is well underway for the new Sports & Events Center.  The steel beams will help accomplish the desired ceiling height of 45 feet and an overall court space of 94,500 square feet.  This includes 72,000 square feet for the 8 basketball/16 volleyball courts located in the main playing area as well as 12,500 square feet for the championship court.

There will be two quarter-final games in the area on Tuesday, February 20th.  1st, Wade Hampton travels to Nation Ford for a 5A Boys game at 7 PM. 2nd, Lewisville and Great Falls will square off at South Pointe HS in Rock Hill at 7 PM.  This will be the 3rd time these two 1A boys’ teams have met this season…. The open book, NFHS certification exam is available online. Requirements The exam must be completed by 11/9/17. A passing grade of 70 is required in order to be certified to do varsity games.
